Welcome to Canada

Canada receives more than 400,000 new immigrants a year through different immigration programs!

Every year, the Government of Canada welcomes new immigrants with the ability and intention to establish themselves economically in the country. Within the Economic programs, for example, the applicant may qualify for a Federal or Provincial program, immigrating as a skilled worker or an entrepreneur.

To become eligible for Canadian immigration under a Federal or Provincial program, an applicant must meet minimum requirements. In addition, it is also necessary to achieve a minimum score to be able to be selected and invited to apply to Immigration, Refugee and

Citizenship Canada. Some of the factors taken into account for this score are the applicant’s level of education, their work experience in the country of origin and Canada, their level of proficiency in English and/or French and his/ her age.

There is also a Family Class program, through which a Canadian citizen or permanent resident in Canada can sponsor one or more family members such as a spouse, children, parents and grandparents.
